聖經的寫成、編輯、抄寫、傳播和詮釋的過程仍持續不斷在與其社會處境對話。本研究室探討信仰群體在面對現今多元文化、宗教、種族、語言和各種處境和環境問題時，如何與聖經對話、與聖經詮釋的歷史傳統和效應對話。同時，本研究室旨在幫助信仰群體在有效的回應這些問題時如何體現十字架的愛與福音的大能。主要的活動項目有：

1.蒐集和翻譯國外與聖經詮釋有關的書籍：幫助牧者接觸世界各地的詮釋學。

2.聖經詮釋培訓課程：幫助牧者在社會處境和文化價值觀裡與聖經對話，讓我們的聖經詮釋和神學是與會眾的生活息息相關。

3.聖經與詮釋的講座和學術會議：幫助牧者和學者研發本土詮釋理論和實踐
